Pharmacists take time out for a flu shot

Pharmacists at Estevan Pharmacy posed to promote their regular flu shot clinic by taking shots of their own last week.

The location in in Estevan Village offers flu shots Tuesday, Thursday , Friday and Saturday during opening hours, as pharmacists come available. On Wednesdays, however, appointments are booked every 15 minutes between 10 a.m and 4 p.m.

To reserve a time, call 250-598-2517. Flu shots are available until there are no more vaccines available. Last year the pharmacists vaccinated people until March.

The pharmacy is also offering a shingles vaccine, Zostavax, that will help prevent shingles in individuals over 50.
