Oak Bay High Cops for Cancer car wash raises big funds

Oak Bay High School washes one big vehicle courtesy of the Oak Bay Fire Department during their car was fundraiser for their C4C, Cops for Cancer fundraiser. The car wash raised nearly $3,000 over six hours in support of the Tour de Rock. Next up for the high school students is the Family Fun Fair at Willows Beach on Sunday, Sept. 20 (from 10 a.m. to 3 pm.) followed by a bottle drive Sept 26. Leaflets will go around the neighbourhood asking people to keep their bottles and put them on the curb on the morning of Sept. 26.
