The official grand opening of the Oak Bay Beach Hotel may still be a few months away, but a couple more pieces of the puzzle fell into place last week, with the hiring of two key staff members for the resort.
Michelle Le Sage joins the team as hotel manager, bringing more than 20 years of experience in hospitality management, and Sarah Henderson has been hired as rooms division manager. Henderson was an eco tour guide at the hotel during its previous incarnation, which closed in 2006.
The hires come with about four months to go until the new hotel’s grand opening, set for May.
