A marijuana grow-op was busted this week, netting over 400 pot plants. A 22-calibre rifle and ammunition were also seized at the scene.
Saanich police executed a search warrant on the house in the 4200-block of Douglas St. on Monday afternoon. The plants, in various stages of growth, were inside the home.
A man and a woman, both renters, were arrested.
Charges suggested include production of a controlled substance and possession for the purposes of trafficking.
