Madrona Farm was the site last Sunday of the fourth annual Chef Survival Challenge. The challenge, organized by The Land Conservancy of B.C., pits 20 local chefs against one another as part of an obstacle course that brings focus to local food sources. The obstacle course includes haystack hurdles, irrigation pipe crawls, a climbing wall and a boat race. As part of the food challenge, the chefs all received a map of Madrona Farm then headed out to pick the vegetables they need to whip up a delicious dish made from local produce.
