Property sales in Greater Victoria picked up between January and February, but median prices fell across the board.
According to the Victoria Real Estate Board, the median price for a single-family house slipped to $564,950 in February from $576,000 in January. The overall average in February was $610,975, up about $7,500 from January.
The condominium median price fell to $285,444 in February from $293,000 the previous month.
Sales went from 339 properties in January to 488 last month. The pace still pales compared to last
February, when 621 properties sold.
