Oak Bay approved road use for the GoodLife Fitness Victoria Marathon set for Oct. 9.

Council approved a similar request for 2015, this year though there is a relay component with a transition point in Oak Bay.

Up to 60 participants are to be shuttled to Musgrave Street at Dalhousie to join the race at Beach Drive.

The marathon and half-marathon are sold out. There’s also an 8k road race and Thrifty Foods kids’ run.
