Five Oak Bay firefighters were honoured for their career length at a ceremony in municipal council chambers last week.
Long-service medals were presented to firefighter Duane Adsett, 20 years; Lieut. Donald Roskelley, 20 years; Asst. Chief Tomas Pearse, 20 years; Deputy Chief David Cockle, 20 years, and Chief Gerry Adam, 25 years.
