Two drivers were banned from their vehicles for 24 hours after police smelled marijuana from inside their rides.
The drivers were stopped at 10:45 and 11:30 p.m. July 29 on Cadboro Bay Road and both admitted to smoking pot recently. They each turned over the remaining pot and received 24-hour licence suspensions, and had their vehicles towed. Police decided against forwarding charges of possession against the men.
