If you want to check out the new patient care centre at Royal Jubilee Hospital, but not as a patient, this weekend’s open house might be the ticket.About 50 volunteers and staff will be on hand at the centre this weekend to lead visitors on tours of the building. Everything from the computer room to patient care rooms will be open for viewing.Tours wind through the basement, main floor, second-floor mental health unit and seventh-floor wards. Information booths and displays will be set up to explain programs and services the hospital offers. Tours run from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday (Feb. 26) and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday (Feb. 27). The centre officially opens March 13.
