Grade 5 crossing guards outside Willows elementary school had their abilities tested last Thursday.
The driver of a red Volkswagen Jetta turned left into the intersections where the two guards had stopped traffic, and drove right through, ignoring their stop signs and reflective vests. Then, the driver pulled over, got out, and yelled at the guards.
However, they recorded the driver’s licence plate.
Police tracked the driver down and gave him a $167 ticket for failing to obey school patrols.
