Body found at Victoria’s Cecilia Ravine Park

The sudden death was not suspicious, VicPD says

A body was found at Cecilia Ravine Park around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, prompting the involvement of the Victoria Police and the BC Coroners Service.

“This caused disruption to the park, but there’s nothing suspicious about the death,” said VicPD spokesperson Const. Matt Rutherford.

The body belonged to a man, but his age and identity have not yet been released.

More to come.
