Everyone’s invited to a celebration event at Royal Jubilee Hospital on Friday, June 19 during Island Health’s Aboriginal Week festivities leading up to National Aboriginal Day on June 21.
People of all ages and backgrounds can learn about the cultural and professional contributions of First Nations, Métis and Aboriginal people at the Royal Jubilee event.
The program runs from noon to 2 p.m. in the Patient Care Centre Atrium – All Nations Healing Room and will feature traditional dancing and foods, staff recognition activities and an opportunity to meet members of our Aboriginal Health and Aboriginal employment teams.
