Lorna Curtis, Oak Bay's parks and recreation director, glams it up for Monterey Centre's Royal Wedding Tea. About 80 attended the tea which included a re-broadcast of the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who were married today at Westminster Abbey in London.

At the tea Coun. Hazel Braithwaite attended dressed as the Queen. Mayor Christopher Causton, on leave to run for Liberal party candidate in the Victoria riding, attended with former M.P. Sheila Copps. Causton, who was up at 3 a.m. to watch the live broadcast of the wedding at the Fairmont Empress Hotel, remarked on "what a hopeful day this is."
