Crews moved three houses via the Esquimalt waterfront on Oct. 24 in what one resident called a “tricky manoeuvre” to get the barge out and away.
“Watch them in action as they carefully and artfully wiggle the cumbersome barge with the help of tugboats and other auxiliary watercraft. It was a nail-biter!” said Victoria News reader Judy Marston, who recorded the adventure.
