Oak Bay-Gordon Head candidates set to square off in Cadboro Bay

Forum ahead of B.C. provincial election set for Oct. 8

The Cadboro Bay Residents’ Association will host an all-candidates meeting for Oak Bay-Gordon Head on Tuesday, Oct. 8.

The NDP's Diana Gibson, Conservative Stephen Andrew (Conservative) and Lisa Gunderson with the Green Party have confirmed their attendance at the event running at St. George's Church from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:45.

There will be a moderated Q&A session with a portion set aside for audience questions. Following the meeting, there will be 30 minutes of a meet-and-greet with the candidates. Parking is available at the church, located at 3909 St. George's Ln.

Oak Bay-Gordon Head candidates also square off at an all-candidate's meeting Saturday, Oct. 5 at Oak Bay's Monterey Recreation Centre starting at 2:30 p.m.

The provincial election is set for Saturday, Oct. 19, with advance voting taking place Oct. 10-13, as well as Oct. 15 and 16.
