Shame on our council. The tent camp that protesters set up in Oak Bay should stand as a warning to the next municipality they target. It boggles my mind that anyone expected anything other than what has happened.
Public urination, defecation, and drug use, followed by an expensive taxpayer funded clean up that included Haz-Mat for the dangerous drug paraphernalia left behind.
They have proved that they cannot be trusted to keep their word to vacate after seven days and leave no mess behind.
