Art fruit sales fund fresh fruit buying

Fundraiser raises money for Mustard Seed Food Bank

A fabulous fruit fundraiser kicks off Saturday at Red Art Gallery.

“We raise funds each year for worthy charitable causes in our community.  We are proud to have raised over $18,000 for numerous different charities, in our five years as the husband and wife owners of the Red Art Gallery in Oak Bay,” said Bobb Hamilton, director at Red Art.

The fundraiser Tutti-Fruity, What a Beauty! features 10 apples and 10 pears created by award-winning artist Marion Evamy. Slightly larger than life, the plaster and acrylic fruits sell for $125 each. Proceeds go to fresh fruit for the Mustard Seed Food Bank.
