The theme of World Religion Day is Justice and Compassion: Where is the Balance?

Religion will be celebrated at a weekend conference in Victoria.

The theme of World Religion Day is Justice and Compassion: Where is the Balance?

Eight world faiths will be represented in panel discussions, with music, displays and refreshments.

The conference is at the University of Victoria’s David Lam auditorium at 1:30 p.m. on  Sunday (Jan. 20).

The event is free and open to the public.
