Beavers include boys and girls ages 5 to 7; Cubs include boys and girls ages 8 to 10 and Scouts include boys and girls ages 11 to 14. Beavers meet on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Cubs meet on Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and Scouts meet on Thursday evenings from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m., with occasional weekend camping trips and weekend hikes.

The 5th Garry Oak Scouts have been in Oak Bay for more than 50 years.

They offer youth progressive and stimulating programs with a commitment to the values of doing one’s best, contributing to the community, respecting and caring for others and contributing as a family member and use outdoor activities as a key learning resource.
