The Naden Band woodwind chamber players will perform Sunday, April 22 at Oak Bay United Church.

This concert is the first of a series of chamber music concerts being presented by the Naden Band of Maritime Forces Pacific. The concerts provide an opportunity for Victoria residents to experience a variety of music showcasing smaller ensembles within the larger 35-piece band.

The chamber music concert will feature music for flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn, bassoon, and guitar. The musicians, who are a sub-group of the Naden Band of Maritime Forces Pacific, have prepared a variety of music to please all ages. The program includes selections by Mozart, Françaix, Piazzola, Nielson, and Gounod.

These concerts also support local fundraising, create new relationships and build upon existing partnerships to strengthen the local community. The concert begins at 2 p.m. and admission is by donation. Proceeds from the concert will support the Oak Bay United Community Outreach Program.
