Summer ends sweetly for Oak Bay Sea Rescue

Sweet Delights offers partial profits from summer market sales to the local group

The seasonal swing from summer is that much sweeter for the the Oak Bay Sea Rescue Society thanks to an Oak Bay candy shop.

Each year Sweet Delights offers partial profits from their sales during the monthly summer street market to a local non-profit.

This year the candy shop chose the society that acts as fundraising arm for the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue Station 33 based at Oak Bay Marina.

Sweet Delights presented the group with a cheque for more than $400 at the final market of the season.
