Parks worker Alan Osland found himself searching for his wedding ring this week near the Oak Bay cenotaph.
He said he lost it while repairing the sprinkler system nearby. Although Osland’s wife assured him they would get a new one, the ring has great sentimental value for her husband, since she was the one to pop the question.
The couple have been married three years.
