Photo Gallery: Thousands come out for annual Truck Light Convoy

Roughly 80 trucks were decorated and driven throughout Greater Victoria raising money for local food banks

The Truck Light Convoy and food drive took place this past weekend as dozens of trucks sparkled their way through Greater Victoria on Saturday.

The 20th annual event started at Ogden Point with nearly 80 trucks and wound their way though Oak Bay, up Douglas Street to Vancouver General Hospital, down the Island Highway to Goldstream Avenue to Veterans Memorial Parkway before parking at Western Speedway.

In addition to the convoy, the event also raised money for various food banks in the Capital Region, including the Mustard Seed, Goldstream Food Bank and the Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank.
