As the school year begins, and the Cops for Cancer campaign is underway, Oak Bay High School’s second annual community garage sale fast approaches.
The sale takes place Saturday, Sept. 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Oak Bay High small gym.
Students seek donations, including clothing, shoes, children’s toys, books, and small furniture and appliances. No mattresses or large furniture and appliances can be accepted.

Donations can be dropped off at Oak Bay High School’s back parking lot, off Cranmore Road, from Sept. 5 to 7. The donation area will be open from 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday.
Funds raised through the sale go to Oak Bay High School’s Cops for Cancer, Tour de Rock campaign, to send children with cancer to Camp Good Times.
