Persian new year festival goers enjoyed music, food, a plant sale and cultural presentations Saturday in Centennial Square.
The new year is officially celebrated by Iranian people on March 21 and coincides with the first day of spring. The new day, or Nowruz, indicates a renewal and revival of life.
