New fencing proposed at the Native Plant Park is seeing a minor alteration.
The new fencing will now be a cedar lattice style, which has square holes at the top so one can see through it.
Originally, Oak Bay council approved fencing with horizontal wires on the top half of the fence with the bottom half being lattice. Maintenance and liability concerns were raised in a staff report presented to council at a recent committee meeting, which prompted the alteration.
