More than 170 people participated in the 32nd annual Oak Bay Merrython, starting and finishing at the Henderson Recreation Centre.
Besides giving people a chance to run or walk a five-kilometre route, the event raised money for the Rotary Club of Oak Bay for local and international projects.
This was the first year the Rotary Club organized the run. Members were assisted by Oak Bay firefighters, who have staged the run in past, and received support from Frontrunners, Runners of Compassion and Oak Bay Parks and Recreation.
