Henderson Rec celebrates expansion

Guests may join in to see the Fitness Studio orientation, ‘Meet the Trainer’ outdoor fitness equipment orientation

Residents are invited to the unveiling of the newly expanded fitness studio and program space at Henderson Recreation Centre.

Guests may join in to see the Fitness Studio orientation, ‘Meet the Trainer’ question and answer session, outdoor fitness equipment orientation and a complimentary workout (bring appropriate clothing if you want to get active).

Oak Bay Mayor Nils Jensen and Monty Holding, chair of Oak Bay Parks and Recreation Commission, will host the proceedings.

Food and refreshments will be provided. The event is on Wednesday, June 26, at noon, at Henderson Recreation Centre, 2291 Cedar Hill X Rd.

Those unable to attend the event can register for free orientations on Saturday, June 22, by calling 250-595-7946.
