Great weather greeted parade goers Monday for the annual Island Farms Victoria Day Parade.
The sunny conditions made a hot time, however, for marching band members like those from Spectrum community school, who were dressed in full parade uniforms.
An estimated 60,000-plus spectators came out to watch the parade, the largest on Vancouver Island. The event featured primarily local entries, but the out-of-town bands and floats were popular, as usual.
