Isaac Streight, a 15-year-old Oak Bay High student, came up with a novel way to earn some pocket money.
He struck a deal with a homeowner on Irving Road who is undertaking home renovations. Isaac will get rid of the discarded lumber, which he plans to recycle. Instead of paying fees to the dump the material elsewhere, the owner plans to pay the teen a portion of the money that is saved.
