Connect with Vancouver Island farmers and their products

Find the Island Farm Fresh Guide in Friday’s paper

Have you ever wondered when and where you can get all of those tasty farm-fresh products the Island is known for?

In this Friday’s edition of your local Black Press newspaper (or on April 26 in Sooke) you’ll find the Island Farm Fresh Guide, an annual publication put together by the Southern Vancouver Island Direct Farm Marketing Association.

This non-profit organization represents roughly 80 farms from Salt Spring Island, across the Saanich Peninsula, out to Metchosin, over the Malahat, through the Cowichan Valley and up to Parksville and Courtenay.

Later this month, the association is also launching a new mobile-friendly website that will make it even easier to find local farmers and their products. For more information or to find a farm or farmers’ market in your area, go to islandfarmfresh.com after April 28.
