BC Transit’s Stuff the Bus event last Saturday at the Tillicum Centre scored nearly 4,000 pounds of food for those who need it most this holiday season.
The 17th annual Stuff the Bus event saw residents cram a double-decker with 3,928 pounds of food and more than $1,330 for local charities.
“We are very thankful to everyone in Victoria for their generosity and support,” says Jonathon Dyck, communications manager for BC Transit.
Did you see the #SantaBus around Victoria today? We hear Santa and his friends had a great time visiting from the North Pole. Even @BCTransitCEO got on board to be Santa's helper! Thanks to everyone who joined in on the fun. From all of us here at BC Transit, Happy Holidays! #yyj pic.twitter.com/RV7ZwPhPCF
