BC Transit’s Stuff the Bus brings back the spirit of giving to Victoria

By mid-December, the spirit of the season is in full swing around Victoria, and residents can join with BC Transit to help those in need.

The 17th annual Stuff the Bus is Saturday, Dec. 15, at Save-On-Foods at Tillicum Centre. BC Transit plans to fill a double-decker bus with donated non-perishable food items, toys and clothing to help make the Christmas season merrier and brighter for others.

Food donations will go to The Mustard Seed Food Bank; and donations of new, unwrapped toys and clothing will go to The Salvation Army’s Stan Hagen Centre for Families.

The 17th annual Stuff the Bus is Saturday, Dec. 15, at Save-On-Foods at Tillicum Centre from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
