Author to read at library

Book takes place in Victoria and the Chilcotin in B.C.'s Interior

Vancouver author and legal advocate Bruce Fraser will read from his latest book at the Oak Bay library at 7 p.m. Sept. 29.

On Potato Mountain is about a Victoria-raised First Nations youth who returns to the Chilcotin to run the family ranch, but gets caught up in a murder.

Fraser is president of Access Justice B.C., a non-profit group that provides free legal advice. He’ll also read at Chapters on Douglas Street, Oct. 1 at 1 p.m.
