Oak Bay Recreation Centre’s pool is swimming with activities next week.
A swim instructor will be on deck to coach swimmers through their laps during a free stroke-improvement clinic from 5 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday (May 17).
Fast Times at Ridgemont High will light the screen for Wednesday’s dive-in movie, starting at 10 p.m.
On May 19, National Lifejacket Day, boating safety games and activities, along with those using personal flotation devices, are on tap all day in the pool.
And pro-D day celebrations happen Friday, May 20, with swimming from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
