Scott Travers and Melissa Hazenboom welcome the community to Saturday’s anniversary celebrations at Red Barn Market on Oak Bay Avenue.

Red Barn Market invites customers to come celebrate its first anniversary in Oak Bay this Saturday.

Co-owner-operators Melissa Hazenboom and Scott Travers and their staff welcome the community to the Oak Bay Avenue store Saturday, Feb. 4 for a free piece of cake and coffee from noon to 4 p.m.

Customers can also enter a draw for gift baskets and “Barn Bucks.”

“This is our thank you to this wonderful community for their continued support throughout our first year, and boy what a year it has been,” Travers says.

In addition to the draws, Red Barn Oak Bay will also be selling Barn Bucks with a 20 per cent added bonus ($100 minimum). This promotion is only available at the Oak Bay Avenue location and for Saturday only, Travers adds.

Located at 1933 Oak Bay Ave. at Redfern Street, the store has proven popular with locals for its fresh, local produce and meats, including Red Barn’s own smokehouse products, its deli case and the busy sandwich bar.

Red Barn Markets is a locally grown group of five stores in Greater Victoria, with two more stores on the way.
