Dragons’ Den is on the hunt for entrepreneurs

Dragons’ Den comes to Victoria looking for pitches March 11

Dragons’ Den comes to Victoria looking for entrepreneurs on March 11.

As the CBC show enters its 12th season, it’s time aspiring entrepreneurs to get their business pitches ready as producers travel coast to coast on a multi-city audition tour to find the best businesses in need of a Dragon investment.

Auditions are open to the public on March 11 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour, 728 Humboldt St.

Participants of all ages, with businesses at any stage of development are welcome. Hopeful entrepreneurs should prepare to pitch their concept in five minutes or less. Oak Bay has a history of contending businesses – HeeHaw Horseradish and Flytographer – earning the invitation to Toronto to face the Dragons.

Prospective pitchers are encouraged to apply online at cbc.ca/dragonsden/auditions and bring a completed application form to the audition.
