Apparently the Oak Bay mayor was absent on CRD business and his delegated representative was ailing and could not attend an important council meeting regarding development on Victoria Avenue.
This could lead one to question whether the mayor has the best interests of Oak Bay at heart. It makes me feel we should have perhaps elected his opponent, who wanted to be a full-time mayor.
On the other hand, the mayor is always available to talk about culling the deer regardless.
