Victoria residents have another site where they can pick up COVID-19 rapid antigen tests in the region.

The Greater Victoria Harbour Authority has opened a distribution spot at Ogden Point near the Helijet terminal to assist Island Health in distribution of the tests.

Residents must still book a pick-up appointment through Island Health, but the new site provides a second option in the city along with the Victoria Conference Centre at 720 Douglas St.

Other test pickup sites in Greater Victoria include the Peninsula Health Unit at 2170 Mount Newton Cross Rd. in Central Saanich and the Juan de Fuca 55-Plus Activity Centre at 1767 Island Hwy. in Colwood.

People are asked to follow all signage and directions when arriving at the Ogden Point site, and the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority reminds residents that appointments cannot be made through them.

Appointments can be made by first calling Island Health at 1-844-901-8442, then going online to the reservation site to schedule a time.

The Ogden Point site is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.
