Auto thieves busted on West Shore

A man came for a workout at Oak Bay Recreation Centre and lost more than a couple of pounds.

On Dec. 1, the man’s backpack, containing his vehicle keys, was stolen from a cubby in the fitness area, and his vehicle was missing from the parking lot.

West Shore RCMP discovered two men parked in the vehicle on Dec. 12 and they were arrested with charges pending for possession of stolen property.
