Oak Bay resident maligned in leaflet

Leaflets, suggesting a possible child-luring attempt was made earlier this month at Windsor Park that implicated a local resident, were distributed in south Oak Bay recently.

No incident of this nature was reported to the Oak Bay police, who have no reason to suspect the person mentioned in the leaflet.

If the author of the leaflet has any information regarding the alleged incident, they are asked to contact the Oak Bay Police at 250-592-2424.

Police would also like to talk to anyone who saw a person distributing leaflets on cars.
