Phillips Backyard Weekender lineup expanded for Victoria

Three days of music and refreshments offered up in July

One of downtown Victoria’s most popular musical events announced its expanded lineup today.

The Phillips Backyard Weekender, held in the areas behind the Government Street brewery, is growing to include a second stage at The Anian, which will feature three days of rock and alternative music, including headliners Current Swell (July 9), Cake (July 8) and Common Kings (July 7).

Numerous other out of town bands are on the card for this event that combines innovative music with innovative craft-brewed beer. The local bands performing at the festival will be announced soon by producer Atomique Productions.
