To celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday, the Island Illustrators Society showcase a vintage-style travel poster series featuring icons from across the country.
The exhibit travels across Canada this year with the next stop in Oak Bay. The Big Canadian Stuff poster series can be viewed at the Neighborhood Learning Centre at Oak Bay High for the month of May, and the Oak Bay branch of the Greater Victoria Regional Library in June.
Learning centre hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
The Big Canadian Vintage style posters are available for purchase at the Coast Collective Art Centre In Colwood, the Frame-Up in Oak Bay and online at artshopcanada.ca.
