Skaters looking cool for spring show

Ice Ice Baby promises to be an extravaganza of light and sound that will have you dancing in the aisles

The Oak Bay Figure Skating Club features its provincially recognized athletes and its most adorable CanSkaters in their biennial figure skating show on Saturday, April 27 at the Oak Bay Recreation Centre.

Ice Ice Baby promises to be an extravaganza of light and sound that will have you dancing in the aisles.

“The great thing about doing an ice show of this nature is that we can involve everyone from the club, (from) our three-year-olds to our teenagers,” said director of skating Jamie McGrigor. “It’s about sharing with the community the incredible talent we have here in Oak Bay in a fun and entertaining show.”

Tickets are still available for both the 2 p.m. show and the 7 p.m. show and can be purchased at Sweet Delights, 113-2187 Oak Bay Ave.
