Victoria Women's Newcomers’ Club invites members
Women new to the Capital Region are invited to an event hosted by the Victoria Women’s Newcomers’ Club.
A lunch features guest speaker John Meldrum of the University of Victoria’s School of Exercise Science, Physical and Health Education. Meldrum’s talk is titled “Taking Leisure Seriously: How to Bring Fun, Engagement and Meaning to Your Everyday Life.”
Information will also be available about other newcomers’ club events and activity groups.
The event happens Feb. 15 at 11:30 a.m. at the Cedar Hill Golf Club, 1400 Derby Rd. Cost is $22. For reservations, call Kathy at 778-430-1892. For more details visit www.vicdaynewcomers.ca.
