In Loving Memory ~
December 1946 - March 2024
Janet Scott passed away in Victoria after a brave battle with cancer. Janet is survived by her son, husband, and extended family.
Janet was born in Toronto where she worked in finance. When visiting her mother in Victoria, Janet fell in love with the city and made it her new home. There, she joined the Oak Bay United Church and volunteered for many years with the thrift shop.
Janet was active with the People Meeting People Club where she practiced her love of dance. Wherever life took her she made many wonderful friends.
Throughout Janet's life, she was an avid painter, traveller, dancer, and gardener. Most proudly, she was a loving mother to Gordon. Janet lived her life with enthusiasm, compassion, and positivity - and will be remembered for her warmth, dedication to friends and family, and zest for life.
